My First 'You Capture'

I'm not a photographer by any means.  I love photography but I don't claim to know what I am doing when I take pictures.  My point and shoot was violently murdered by an overstuffed purse just before Max was born so I've been trying to learn how to use my husbands DSLR.  I recently stumbled across this blog as her son was born shortly after Max.  It's nice to see a mom going through similar issues.  I LOVE her weekly "You Capture" challenge and I have decided to participate.  

This weeks theme was "Your Best Shot".

Composition wise, it may not be stunning, but the subject makes me laugh.  Max obviously does not enjoy bath time. His expressions change so fast so I was glad to actually get what I was going for.  I call this his "This sucks" face.

I enjoyed this challenge as it inspired me to actually think about what I was doing when I picked up the camera.  Normally I just start clicking in hopes one of them will turn out decent enough for a facebook post!
