A Recipe for a Happy Momma

1 Suprisingly Large Tax Return
1 Round Trip Ticket to New York City
4 days
0 children
0 husbands
1 dear friend to meet you at the airport
1 long run in an iconic city
2-10 large ice cold beers consumed in a beer garden (adjust according to taste and tolerance)
Several hours of gossip
1 designer knock-off handbag
1 (or more) meals at a restaurant serving food you can't find in your own town
1 visit with little sister
1 visit with sister in law and future brother in law
Unlimited hugs and laughter.

Directions: On April 14th, mix all ingredients together until well blended.  Serve to this Momma.  Watch her get her groove back in New York, then come back to Savannah refreshed but desperately missing her husband and son.

Only 48 days to go...but who's counting?

This post is slightly tweaking two of Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop prompts.

I LOVE your take on a recipe!

And nothing is more satisfying than a meal that you can get in your home town!

Ooohhhhh! Sounds amazing (except maybe for the running part. Maybe substitute that for more eating?). I am going to hope for a side of pleasant surprises for you as well!!!
